Hey there, i'd like to use AD5758 especially the current output. Is it possible to use the internal ADC to meausre the current loop? Maybe i need a external measurement Resistor! Do you have any suggestion/Recomandations?!
Cheers, Maik

Hello Maik,

Table 18 in Datasheet. An external channel is not available.
PS. For internal current conversion control and calibration you can refer to Figure 74.
One can use also external 13.7kOhm (at Ra/Rb inputs) for current setting, as well as internal 13.7kOhm.
The functional safety version ADFS5758 has two external ADC inputs.
That can you help you.
ADFS5758 is also certified for SIL2/SC3 by TÜV Rheinland.

Hello Maik,
The AD5753 also had 2 external ADC inputs that can be used to monitor the control loop. There is a possibility of using the +VSENSE pin to measure the loop for the AD5758. This pin has a 50V input range so the resolution of this input is 12mV which is not as good as the ADC1/2 pins on the ADFS5758 or AD5753.

Cheers for suggestions :-).
