AD5428 without IV converter

Hi,

We designed programmable current source circuit using DAC as interface between FPGA and Current driver section

As I need to get fast response time, I am trying to get rid of using separate IV converter. How do we get rid of IV opamp and fed reference input to current driver section?

AD5428 used to fed reference voltage to two current drivers

Thanks and Best Regards,

  • Hi Anandkumar,

AD5428 multiplying DAC needs both OUT1 and OUT2 nodes at the same potential to function.

As OUT2 is at ground, OUT1 has to also be at ground potential. Feedback around the op amp forces this to happen.

BTW, AD5428 requires 47ns for the signal to settle. What are the timing restrictions for your design?
