Can someone recommend a DAC to use for generating a 100Hz sine wave? Ideally I need 5 outputs that can each be programmed to 100Hz but with different phases and amplitudes. Thanks
Hi Percy,
If your goal is a plane sine wave, you might benefit from a DDS synthesizer. This avoids the need to generate your sine wave with a microcontroller or so. You could have a look at the AD9106…
Hi,
Your application would require more programming on your side. The software will be the one to tell the converter on how much it would need to change the outputs.
As for the DACs, You may want to take a look at AD5629R or AD5669R. They have 8 channels and can transfer data at the rate of 400kHz. You may want to take a look at the wide portfolio of DACs. I have narrowed it to 8 channels.
