AD 7524

Question

Hello. I am new here. I am using AD7524 in my project. According to datasheet, pin 14 is VDD which supposed is an input voltage. However, I found out it contains of 5v when measuring by multimeter. Is this something went wrong? Anyway, I am connecting it in binary operation.

Hi, 
 The VDD (pin 14) pin is the power supply pin. It should have a voltage level when you are using the part. Are you saying that you are applying voltages to the DB0-DB7 pins without applying power on the part? Please share a schematic diagram so that we can understand your situation. Please include the voltage levels of your supplies.
