I have a question about the 22 pin (NC pin) of AD420.
In an old specification, I think that 22 pin was a capacitor connection terminal.
However, it is NC pin now.
Because my circuit was designed in old time, the capacitor (3300pF) is connected with the 22 pin.
Is this all right?
Hi Mr. K,
Apologies for the delayed response.
The data sheet says not to connect anything to this pin so I would advise to follow it and remove the capacitor connected to pin 22 of the part. Unlike pins 1, 12, 13 and 24 which do not have internal connections to the device, connecting something to the pin 22 may cause performance degradation, or worse, damage to the part.
