Can the Rofs pin of the AD5556 be left unconnected when used in unipolar two-quadrant mode? It appears that this would increase the feedback resistance from 5kΩ to 10kΩ. Would this then also increase the output range from 0V - Vref to 0V to 2Vref?

Hi,
You may choose to leave Rofs unconnected, and it is correct that the feedback resistance will increase and the full scale voltage is twice the Vref. However, it might have impact on other parameters such as noise performance. Also, please be aware of the maximum voltage (please refer to absolute maximum ratings) on pins such as Rfb and Rofs as it should be within -18V to +18V,referenced to GND.
May I know on which application are you going to configure this DAC? And may I also know why do you consider leaving Rofs unconnected? Thanks
Cheers,
Ivan
