Hi
I see that the update rate of the AD5696R is 2.5Msps from the selection Table.
but I don't find the parameter from the data sheet of AD5696R.Could you tell me something about update rate and how
to get it?

Hi liu123,
Apologies but the 2.5MSPS data shouldn't be there at the first place, we're going to remove that. Just follow what is required under timing specifications of the datasheet and you'll be fine

Hi Ivan
Unfortunately,Because of this error,I bought the wrong board or controller board. My boss is very angry,I can't continue my research.I hope you can correct them sincerely.
So I'd like to return the boards,And what should I do to return the boards?
Then I also need to find the D/A converter the update rate of is above 2.5Msps and the resolution of which is above 16 bits. Could you give me some advice?
Hi liu123,
You might be needing a high speed DAC. May I know what exactly you are trying to do? The application? What are your requirements from the DAC?
Cheers,
Ivan
Hi
Thanks for your reply.
I need the DAC , the data of which is input by evaluation software in PC continuously, to generate a waveform signal.
the channel is four.
Hi,
Is the 2.5 MSPS requirement per channel (10 MSPS for 4 channels) or for all channels (4) already?
We have some DACs that which can have this update rate but that would be for all channels already, so a 2.5 MSPS DAC for 4 channels will result to a ~625kSPS per channel. The workaround would be to use four different single channel DACs but this would also mean four SPIs.
Second alternative is to use parallel interface, however we do not have a 16-bit, 4 channel DAC as of this moment.
Cheers,
Ivan
