AD5722 Output Range

Question

Hi 
 My customers are planning to use the AD5722 with REFIN = 3 V. Please give me your wisdom about this plan. 
 They expect 12V output with Output Range = + 10.8V setting. Since Internal Gain Values is 4.32, it seems there is no problem with the plan. However, the output exceeds + 10.8V. Is this plan possible? Best regards

Hi Mochi , 
 
 You can do that with REFIN = 3V and Output range = +10.8V, the output will try to go to 12.96V at full scale, however, if the analog supply voltage is lower than this, the output will be clamped to the supply voltage, whichever is lower.
