Currently using AD598JR part in a position sensing application.
If the ambient operating temperature exceeded 70C for this part, how would
reliability and operation be affected? Will the part still function?
(Absolute extreme operating temperature may be about 75C, normally <60 degrees)
I know there is an alternative package available(AD598AD), rated up to 85c, but
due to pcb space and height restrictions, we can only use the AD598JR
While the AD598 will not be damaged if operated at temperatures up to +85deg C,
the part was only evaluated over a temperature range of 0 to +70 deg C (J
grade). So, the specifications for the AD598 are guaranteed only for
temperatures up to +70 deg C - I cannot guarantee that the device will continue
to meet the datasheet specifications over the wider temperature range. The
specifications that may degrade are the drift specs (offset drift, gain
drift). But, I cannot quantify the amount by which these specs would degrade.
