Question
We are developing medical device in the field of lung function measuring
devices. For our devices we currently use the AD7730 A/D converter with a 5
inch H2O preasure transducer. As we plan for a new device next year, we are
looking if the AD7730 is still up to date and suitable for our application, or
if there is a newer better A/D converter that could be used for our
application. Can you tell us about new products analog devices offers in that
range of AD converters, that might fit our design.
Answer
The AD7195 might be considered in place of the AD7730. It has lower noise and
lower power than the AD7730.
