What are the advantages/disadvantages of enabling the MAX11207 input buffers?

The main utility of the buffers is to allow for the use of high impedance sources/transducers without compromising the dynamic range (significantly). The disadvantages of enabling the buffers is slightly more typical current draw (an extra 20µA from the AVDD supply pin) and the REF voltage range is now 0.1V to (V_AVDD - 0.1V) instead of 0 to V_AVDD. The input range will also change from [(V_GND - 0.03V), (V_AVDD + 0.03V)] to [(V_GND + 0.1V), (V_AVDD - 0.1V)].
