Q
AD7891AS and AD7865BS-1 have been stressed to +225C (10second) IR soldering.
Will this destroy the components?
A
The absolute maximum IR soldering (15 Sec)lead temperature specified in the
AD7891 and the AD7865 datasheets is 220 degrees C. As the warnings in the
datasheet state: "Stresses above those listed under Absolute Maximum Ratings
may cause permanent damage to the device". Therefore we can not guarantee that
stressing these devices with lead temperatures in excess of the specified
absolute maximum ratings will not destroy these components or cause damage
which affects their long-term reliability.
