We are looking at the mechanical tolerance build up. The height is the
curtailing factor! Using your data sheet, we calculate
this to be : 0.280 (device with tolerance of 10 thou) + 0.025 ( glass bead with
tolerance of 5 thou) . This gives a total of 0.305 +/- 15 thou. Please confirm
that these values are correct.


Please advise that our height of the RDC1740 package in our assembly
specification is .290 ± .010, and the standoff is .025 ± .005, for a total of
.0315 ± .015.

Seems that the datasheet is off by .010 in height.

ADI has no plans to implement any change in packages used to manufacture this
