Question
In single conversion mode, the on-chip oscillator of AD7190 requires 1 ms approximately to power up. If the customer uses external crystal or clock, does the part still need a power up time? And how much is it if it needs a power up time.
Answer
The internal oscillator is powered down when the ADC is in power down mode. The internal oscillator takes 1 ms to power up when the part is taken outof power down mode. If the customer uses an external crystal or clock, the 1 ms power up time is not required.
