What is the watchdog of the MAX1645? After we re-send the voltage and current command, BIT 12 can be restored to a normal state, yet it will appear after a time; this then happens repeatedly. What is the cause of this?

The MAX1645 contains a 175-second safe timer (watchdog). If the ChargingVoltage() or ChargingCurrent() command is not received within 175 seconds, the charging will be terminated, and the bit 12 of state register will be set as 1.
