What could cause a low-frequency spectral peak in the digital output data on the MAX11200?
The MAX11200/10 is a delta-sigma converter, which are known to produce idle tones. Idle tones occur when an input is on the edge of a code transition. Normally, this idle tone may be removed by applying a small DC offset to the input or removed via digital filters.
