Hi,
Hi,
For AD4112, as per datasheet, each current input pin can handle max of +-50mA. Is this continuous current?
What is the peak current that each pin can handle and for what duration?
Thanks.

Hi DespicableMe ,
I have reached out to the product owner and will follow up with you.
Thanks,
Francis
Thanks.
Hi DespicableMe ,
No, ±50 mA is an absolute maximum rating that must not be exceeded and operation at or near this is not also recommended. Abs Max are stress rating only (maximum), not functional operation. Continuous current is defined by the input current range and is significantly lower.
The ±50 mA limit represents brief fault tolerance only and is intended for short transient events only. As input current pins have ESD protection diodes in it which makes sustained or repeated currents near this limit not supported and must be limited externally.
Thanks,
Ja
Hi janinealvarez ,
Thanks for the information.
