What power mode can we used?

Thread Summary

The user inquired about using a 4MHz fMOD with the AD7768-1 in low power mode, despite the datasheet suggesting a maximum of 1.024MHz. The final answer indicated a mismatch between the online tool and the datasheet, where selecting Clkdiv as 1 in the tool actually sets MCLK_DIV as 2, aligning with the datasheet's values. The user confirmed this clarification and thanked the support team.

Hi ADI,

In the table 9 of datasheet for ad7768-1, it suggests the fmod can only go up to 1.024MHz.

However, in the online tool https://www.analog.com/media/en/engineering-tools/design-tools/ad7768-1_filter_model_web.xlsx, we can use 4MHz with low power mode. We want to set divider to 1 and demation to 1024 with 4MHz fmod coz it give us a very low noise value.

We want to know whether the configuration is supported or not.

Thanks!
