Hi ADI team,
Can I apply resolver sin cos output directly to RDC IC even if resolver output swings -2.5V to 2.5V ? Can I apply negative voltage on pin sinlo of RDC ID? 
As highlighted in this image, is negative resolver output going to shift by Vref/2? Is this what this means? or should I use a clamping circuit to shift negative voltage to min of 1.5V and apply to sinlo pin of RDC?

You can't have an output swing of -2.5V to 2.5V because that is 5 Vp-p; thus, it will violate the 4 Vp-p spec of the device. Your maximum amplitude should only range from 1.15V to 2V. On the other hand, you need to apply an offset voltage so your input voltage will not violate its absolute maximum rating:

I would like to add details and clarify regarding the input amplitude. Let's say, you want to maximize the voltage amplitude of the Sine and Cosine inputs. So, you would be using a REFOUT/2 offset voltage:
In this example, each pin (Sin and SinLo or Cos and CosLo) have an input voltage of 1V. Thus, having a differential voltage of 2Vp-p per pin. So, swinging from -2V to 2V in the ADC reading results to the 4 Vp-p.
What is the maximum negative value i can apply to sinlow and coslow pin? Is it -2V ?
As stated from its foot note, it should not go below 0.2V.
