need urgent help
We have designed a custom board with uC and AD7606C-16 for high speed data aquisition. input signals are 0-5V Single ended. we are planning to use 4 SPI outputs to receive the converted data. Before setting the Range registers we tried reading the Device id and silicon id from the device at address 0x2F to check if SPI is working correctly. But we are consistantly getting 0x7F in return. which according data sheet should be 0x31 or from some of the post here it should be 0x22. we also tried reading range registers; which should return 0x33 the default reset value which +/-10V range. but we are getting 0x00 insted. what we are doing wrong. attached below code snippets and schematic.
