AD7266 channel-to-channel crosstalk

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: AD7266

We experience a fair bit of crosstalk between the channels 1 and 2 of the same core (does not matter which core, all unused channels are grounded). It's about 25-30dB and I cannot understand from the datasheet if it's expected or not.

What is the noise frequency the spec is talking about?

  • Hi,  .

The channel-to-channel isolation shown in Figure 5 of the AD7266 datasheet represents how well one channel is isolated from another when a signal is applied. As frequency increases, channel isolation degrades. The typical spec of its channel isolation is -88 dB. Moreover, channel-to-channel isolation indicates crosstalk between channels. It is tested by applying a full-scale 10 kHz sine wave to all unselected channels and measuring its attenuation on the selected channel driven at 50 kHz. The value shown is the worst case across all 12 channels.

May we know the following so we can get a better grasp of the situation:

    1. Signal chain (from signal source to adc)
    2. Schematic (if it is fine)
    3. Your input signal
