Hi,
Most datasheets for Sigma-Delta ADCs recommend the use of a simple RC anti-alias filter on the analogue inputs. However the datasheet for the AD7719 makes no such recommendation. I can only find a suggestion that, "R, C filtering (for noise rejection or RFI reduction) can be placed on the analog inputs if required". Is there an implicit assumption that anti-alias filters should be used, or is there something different about this ADC that negates their requirement? I'm revising a design which uses this device and wondered whether I should add anti-alias filters to each input.
Thanks,
Jake
