Digital and analog supplies range

Hello. Trying to clear up some confusion with the datasheet for the MAX11284. 

We are planning on running dual analog supplies (+/- 1.8V) and 3.3V digital logic, so we would supply DGND = 0V, DVDD = 3.3V. The datasheet certainly makes this option sound viable, but in the absolute max ratings, the range for DVDD to AVSS is listed as -0.3V to 3.9V. This would make our configuration outside of the abs max, if I am reading this correctly. Just want to see if I am understanding these abs max rating correctly and if so, what options exist for running split analog supplies. We would be able to run 1.8V digital supply/ logic, but this also feels wrong as it would be below the required 2.0V for the digital side.
