Can you please elaborate how your device "has been broken" sometimes? Can you share your configurations settings and the readings you are reading? This may help us better understand your issue.

We focused on circuits that could introduce voltages exceeding the absolute maximum ratings: the rise of the LC-REF+ voltage was faster than the rise of the AVDD, and this could have caused the IC to fail.

You are right on focusing not to exceed the absolute maximum ratings of the device. Thus, to ensure proper operation of the device, it is recommended to consider and not violate the specifications specified by the datasheet.
