Hi All,
I am using 5 of these to provide a 40-channel capture system for some test equipment. The ADC input tracks the input voltage well up to around 9.2V (ADC code 0xDFEE) in single-ended mode. After that, any increase in voltage does not increase the ADC code.
If I use differential mode (-6Vref-->+6Vref), I can measure a range of up to 16V albeit on every other pin.
I am using Mode-2, so internal VREF 4.096V. I have measured VREF as 4.095V and REF as 4.092V.
My settings for each channel (Channel-0 used as example) are as follows: -
- 0x87 Set CONFIG Register (Single-ended -3Vref --> +3Vref)
- 0xA8 Set Mode Register (CH-0, Mode-2)
- 0x80 Set start Conversion
I have tried increasing the Ref from 1uF to 2uF and also the REFCAP from 0.1uF to 1.1uFbut no difference.
Am I missing something?
