I've got a bank of 4-8 LTC2440 converters that I'm using to sample 4-8 signals simultaneously. At the slow (by micro standards) throughput involved I'm bit banging the interface and mostly that's working, and the traces captured by a logic analyser look fine.
The problem is that apparently at random one or more LTC2440 converters stops producing conversion results with SDO stuck high. Any idea what could be producing this behaviour? It seems much the same whether I'm using the internal 9MHz clock or an externally suppied 12 MHz clock.
The only way to unlock the converter seems to be a power cycle.
