Hi, we are using a MAX22531 to conduct a resistance measurement.
We use the VREF pin externally to have an accurate reference voltage. The circuit looks something like this:
So we use switch SW1 to either connect VREF to ground with R1 or to AIN1 with R2.
We are seeing issues with this setup and the voltages read from the ADC do not correspond with what we see on the oscilloscope. VREF seemed stable at 1.8V.
In the datasheet I did not find anything about using the VREF pin externally and pulling (very little) current. Is that OK, or is the pin only for capacitors to stabilize the internal reference?
