Gain Error Specification

For the gain error, you can refer to the Full-Scale error.

Hi Jo/Nathan,

The text there says the full scale error includes the zero-scale error also. I don't think this is really the gain error I am looking for. Here is an example of what I am looking for, see the snip from the AD7383 that defines the Gain error which does not include "Zero Error". In the case of the AD7383, I would be able to find the Full Scale Error by Adding the Zero Scale Error to the Gain Error. Would you able to provide guidance on getting the same type of gain error for the AD4858?

Sorry for the late response and for making a confusion. The Full-scale error includes the zero-scale error. And by definition, gain error is the difference of the full-scale error and the offset error. In this case, the zero-scale error pertains to the offset error. Thus, removing the zero-scale error results to the gain error. Thank you for your patience.

Thanks for confirming that subtraction off the zero scale error from the full scale error will result in the gain error.
