Upon checking its timing diagram, there would not be a delay in propagating from the SDO of device A going to the SDI of device B. I think what we need to focus on more is the timing delay of one SDO to another. And that would be after 18 serial clock pulses' timing diagrams. Or the difference of tHSDO and tDSDO, since that is where the shifting of the data is shown.

thank you for your answer. I am not sure if I understand your answer or if you understood my question :)

I have the problem, that I have 6 slaves, and some of them are 15cm apart. So lets suppose the falling edge of the clock arrives first at A, so A holds its SDO level for another 3ns (t_HSDO) after the falling edge. The clock now propagates to B and it takes 1ns to arrive there. So there is only 2ns left from t_HSDO. The hold time of B is 3ns. So if I have some difference between the time the SDO of A needs to propagate to SDI of B and the time the clock need to propagate to B, then I am out spec.
