LTC2470 SDI pin left open

Question

For the LTC2470. what happens when you leave the SDI pin open? Does it just stay at the default (208 sps and NAP mode)?

 The device may exhibit erratic behavior if SDI is left floating. In general, input pins are suggested to be connected with a known reference (VDD or GND) depending on your desired function as the pins may be in an unknown state if done otherwise.
