We are going to design a photodiode amplifier board. We believe that AD7788 is a good choice, Is this part will be obsolete by any chance?
Could you recommend an alternatives or pretty much similar to AD7788, please?
Thanks for your consideration.

Hi MustafaMiralab ,
Right now, the AD7788 is still in production as seen on its product page (refer to the figure below). For what I know, this part will not be obsolete in a couple of years. Furthermore, its product life cycle status on the product page will be updated when all the products in this family will be obsolete soon (you may refer to Product Life Cycle Information | Analog Devices for the definitions of the product's life cycle status).
Aside from the AD7788, there are no new single-channel ADCs released today. However, I can recommend you using the AD7172-2 which is a low power, 24-Bit sigma-delta ADC with true rail-to-rail buffers on the analog inputs which you may find useful. It has a configurable input channel with 2 fully differential channels or 4 single-ended channels. It is also integrated external reference inputs which provide easy to drive high impedance inputs. For a sigma-delta ADC with faster speed and lower noise, you may want to use the AD7175-2. Thank you.
Regards,
Rod
