What are the defferences between AD7134 and AD4134?
The AD7134 is not recommended for new designs,
and its product page recommends the AD4134 as
an alternative part. The main difference seems to
be the AD7134 has a 0-85C temperature range.
the AD4134 has a -40C-105C temperature range.
The main reason to keep the AD7134 in the catalog,
I would guess, is so that products that currently ship
with the AD7134 can avoid the re-qualification process
necessary for upgrading to a different part. But new
designs have no reason not to use the AD4134 -- no
one has a need for their part to stop working if its too
cold or too hot !
Hi MMT ,
I will contact the product owner to give more insights about the difference between AD7134 and AD4134.

Hi MMT ,
Thank you for considering these parts.
John is right that the main difference between the 2 is the operating temperature range.
AD7134: 0 to 85 C
AD4134: -40C to 105C.
We recommend using the AD4134 with wider operating temperature range and AD7134 is no longer recommended for new designs.
There are slight differences in some specifications but the two are fully hardware and software compatible.
Thanks,
Janine
Hi john-lazzaro ,
The main difference is indeed the temperature range. Thank you for your insightful comment.
