LTC2444, LTC2448 analog input pin connection

Question

Hello, 
 I'm DFAE. I receuved a question from my customer. 
 He would like to use LTC2444 or LTC2448 for same PCB and software because of availability issue of them. He use only CH0 channel by single -ended mode. Can we short(connevt) pin 8 and pin 9 of LTC2444 or LTC2448 to achieve that?

Hi AkiraO , 
 I have confirmed with the design team that it is possible to short pin 8 and 9 together on both the LTC2444 and LTC2448 for single-ended CH0 measurement (CH0 to COM). Those pins are not internally connected to the ground on the LTC2444 and can be driven to any voltage within the supply range. Regards, JC)
