Question

Hi ADI, 
 Can ADUM7703 be a replacement for AD7401? 
 What happen if we leave the pin 4 of ADUM7703 as floating? Will it affect the entire system? Thanks.

Hi, 
 We will contact the responsible engineer to further assist you on this. But I would recommend to connect this to GND1 as stated on the datasheet. 
 Is it difficult to apply such modification in your system?

Hello, 
 
 The ADuM7703 GND1 pins are internally connected. If one of the GND1 pins is left floating, the part will still operate, but thermal management and noise performance may be slightly reduced.
