We will contact the responsible engineer to further assist you on this. But I would recommend to connect this to GND1 as stated on the datasheet.
Is it difficult to apply such modification in your system?

To wire out for GND pin is not advisable for the design thus would like to know if we can leave the GND pin as floating.
