Observing a weird behavior of LTC 2357 sending data over serial data output line during busy phase
Hi vins,
It looks like you are sending clock pulses and SDI data during the BUSY phase. (SCKO is a copy of the SCKI signal.) If CSL is low, the LTC2357 will respond to clocks even during a conversion. This is not recommended as this can corrupt the conversion result.
Thanks the issue is fxed now but the ADC is sending incorrect data. If I give a DC signal I should see same or somewhat same values over N samples but I see the returned values are different. Any pointer what might be wrong. Also I am interfacing the ADC with FPGA so any pointers on input/output delays should be used in constraints file of FPGA
This could be a noise issue. What is your signal source? Another possibility is that some interference could be corrupting the conversion. Can you provide a schematic?
