Hello, I would like to ask you about the compatibility between evaluation boards.

I'm going to measure the data with EVAL-AD7616(ADC) and EVAL-AD5380(DAC) by connecting them, is it okay?

I'd appreciate it if you could answer.

Hello,

The DAC output range and the ADC input range match each other, so no damage will be caused if you connect them together.

Looking at the impedances, you will probably be fine performance wise too…

Hello,

Do you mean from a software point of view, connecting the two of them together to the same machine?

Or do you mean from a hardware point of view, the DAC output connected straight away into the ADC input?

I'm trying to connect in hardware. In order to learn how to measure ADC and DAC in our lab, we would like to connect ADC and DAC in hardware and put a signal in ADC to see if the reconstructed waveform appears to DAC. I'm asking if the two boards are compatible to do this.
