Recommendation for true simultaneous 4 channels ADC

Hello,

I was looking for 4 channels of simultaneous ADC with :

  • 3X3 mm or less footprint
  • SPI or I2C
  • Truly isolated channels

The problem with multiplexed channels is cross-talk which is ruining the biometric data collection.  I had to use 4 chips of ADS1115 which does the job. However, I am looking for minimizing the PCB footprint and therefore looking for the availability of a 4 channels simultaneous ADC with guaranteed isolation.

    You might try looking at the AD7386/7/8.  These are quad devices in a 3x3 package which run at 4MSPS maximum throughput and have integrated oversampling.  While you only have a true dual, simultaneous sampling device inside the crosstalk between the multiplexed inputs is quite high (>90dB) and that is measured at full throughput.  I would have to create a request for additional data but my expectation is that the rejection figure would improve with reduced throughput because of increased acquisition time.
