Questions about AD1674 converter start timing

My customer is using the CE to be kept high at all times by connecting the CE to the VCC in the picture of the data sheet below.

At this time, you cannot have Tssc (CS to CE Setup) and Tssr (CS to CE Setup) of CS signal.

Customers say that there is no problem with the operation, so please advise if it is possible to use CE high all the time.

    Yes, it is possible to wire the CE directly to VCC to keep it at a high state all the time. But we advise including the CS pin to be connected to GND to prevent some errors in the timing. We also suggest placing a 0 ohm resistor at the interface line between the CE to VCC and CS to GND to have an option for other configurations.

    In my opinion, if the CE is fixed, high is more correct than low.

    Unfortunately, the customer's board is already connected with CS to VCC and the hardware is fixed.

    At this time, Tssc (CS to CE Setup) and Tssr (CS to CE Setup) are not provided, but tHSC (CS Low During CE High) is maintained at about 60ns.

    Please advise if there are any problems with use even in this situation.
