AD7293 for a 10W GaN PA

Hi Valerie,

This is a follow-up on AN-1361 provided for AD7293.

1) The HMC1099 GaN PA is used as a reference point. Please provide reference schematic for AD7293 for the HMC1099 and the power-up and power-down sequencing scheme followed.

2) The IDS max for the GaN PA we are testing is 2A at 50VDS which translates in to a Rs value of 0.1ohms which is an advantage as per the application note. But is this within the closed loop specs of the AD7293 in general?

I am afraid we do not have a reference schematic for AD7293 for the HMC1099. For the power-up and power-down sequencing scheme I suggest looking at the closed loop sequencing on page 28 of the AD7293 datasheet.

For the RSENSE value I think it is ok however, I suggest looking at Loop Component Selection on page 78 of the AD7293 datasheet.
