The AD7756 states that it is applicable for position detection where as the 7745 is applicable for position sensing.
As the 7156 includes a 12 bit CDC and the 7745 includes a 24 bit CDC i conclude that this type of wording has been choosen because of a greater resolution? (I am specially confuesd as the 12 bit is not really mentionend in the description)
I want to sense position with capacitve change, but due to size contraints I would prefere the 7156 over the 7745.
