Problem with sequencer of AD7689

Question

Hi, 
 I have an AD7689 chip which I am programming to sequence between 8 channels through and SPI-DMA setup via a BF592 processor. I built the front end analog and conneted the digital control lines. When I set the seuqnecer of the AD7689 to sequence between channel 0 and 1, I get the output that I expect (i.e. have the correct data in the DMA buffer that I have setup). When I switch between channel 0 and 7, I start getting rubbish data. 
 Has anyone had such a problem. Do you have any code the fixes this issue?

Hello Khal, 
 What's your configuration register bits setting? Which mode (RAC/RDC/RSC) are you using with or without busy indicator? 
 We have a working example code available for interfacing the AD7689 with BF592 via SPI devloped by our DSP group, which you can use it as a reference for AD7689 interfacing with some modifications. 
 To understand more about the SPI peripheral, you can have a look at the Blackfin processor Hardware reference manual
