Reading problem in AD7294

Hi all,

               I am working with AD7294  with frequency(SCL) 360 MHz.I had some problem with continues read .if i am giving some more delay between  two read it will be responding good,but if the delay is low it may work for two three read cycle and become hanged in read busy status .I cant get any idea from datasheet on the timing between consecutive reads.Is there any unknown spec.We have to get read operation quick.The device is taking around 100mA is it normal.So please give me some expert opinion or some one who could advice me.( found that its response is not proper if the time between two reads is less than 5 ms- not sure )

                        Thanks for your feedback,SCL is 360khz,sorry for that mistake.I was in a hurry in framing that question.I will point out my questions as what i have done and whats my observations.

    Action

    1.clock is at 360khz, i have tried up to 383khz as we could go up to 400khz and voltage is 5V.

    2.interface is from a micro controller.

    Observations.

    1.During start microcontroller take only 4mA and when it starts writing AD7294(continues) it  will take 104mA i infer that AD7294 is taking that current as no other interface is connected.

    2.Current taking is not a problem at all,when i was reading AD7294 in continues mode it will not respond.

    3.I thought that the the time between two reads is not sufficient.so i increased delay and found that with in 5ms AD7294 will misbehave.the delay must be >5ms(not found in datasheet).

    4.In datasheet seen that no write and read can be combined (need some clarification) .

    I haven't took screenshot i will  attach it in the  next post i am about to take it.
