AD7400 power supply

Do VDD1 and VDD2  of AD7400 have specification of rising time at power up ?

Our customer's power supply IC to AD7400_VDD output 1.2V~1.6V for a certain period (300us~1ms), and output 5V after that.

Is there any problem with above?

I can not find the specification of rising time at power up in AD7400 datasheet.

If  above  has any conern , please let me know your advice.

    Hi Terumasa,

Ensure that the absolute maximum ratings are not exceeded or violated, then there should be no issue. Additionally, the device should work fine as long as the analog inputs are applied after the supply establishes the 5 V output.

  • Hello johnnnyG

    Thank you for your advice.

As you mention, our customer's power supply condition does not exceed the absolute maximum ratings.

But,  I think  below power up sequence may be bad for IC.

"power supply rail goes up - down or stop temporary by reaching 5V( IC turn ON) ,

So, there is no problem if a concern for this condition is absolute maximum ratings only.

If you have any other concern of AD7400 for this condition , please let me know you advice.
