AD7280A Power-down mode

Hi,

We intend to use AD7280A for monitoring and balancing purpose.

How are configured ALERT and SDO output signals in Power-Down mode?

Are there other points on AD7280A to be aware of to make the current leakages as low as possible in power-down mode?

Thanks

Pierre-François

    Hello,

The AD7280A datasheet Pin Configuration section details the SDO and Alert pins and how they should be connected.

"On the master AD7280A device, the SDO output should be connected to the DSP/microprocessor. The SDO outputs of the remaining AD7280As in the daisy chain should be connected to VSS either directly or through a pull-down, 1 kΩ resistor."

"The ALERT output of the master AD7280A should be connected to the DSP/microprocessor. The ALERT outputs of the remaining AD7280As in the daisy chain should be connected to VSS either directly or through a pull-down, 1 kΩ resistor."

    Regards,

    Mike
