Exposed pad connection of the ADS8471?

Is the exposed pad of ADS8471 connected to any electrical signal internally?

I didn't see any description about this issue in the datasheet.

The only information is a note stating: "The package thermal pad must be soldered to the printed circuit board for thermal and mechanical performance." I would like to connect it to analog Ground, is that a good idea?
