AD7091R-8 : settling time

Hello,

I have some questions about AD7091R-8.

The AD7091R-8 has a MUXout pin.

Q1:

How long settling time is necessary for output of Muxout pin after the channel register is written?

Q2:

It is a question about the MUXout when the same channel is continuously converted in A/D.

In this case, MUX is fixed.
The second time of A/D conversion can disregard the settling time of MUX.

Is this correct?

    Hi Mr.K

    the settling is dependent upon the source resistance and BW of the circuit between the Mux and the ADC.There is a latency of one conversion before the channel  conversion sequenc is updated.

    In the scenario where the channel is constant, then the settling requirements are much relaxed.However, all of the dynamics with the SAR ADC conversion process still need to be settled.
