My customer uses AD2S44 and would like to know ADI can provide reference design document?
Sorry but we don't have reference circuit for AD2s44. But I can refer you to AD2s1210 reference that you can look as a start. What type of application do you have?
Hello. The AD2S44 is a very vintage Dual Sychro/Resolver to Digital Converter that is still in production and will contiue to be support for many more years. However, since this a very vintage part, there's not a great deal of design documents available or application documents. The first place I always refer customers to is the "Synchro and Resolver Conversion Handbook". This is a great resource, written in 1980 by Analog Devices, but is still very usueful today. ADI granted North Atlantic Industries the permission to reproduce this handbook and they have since posted it in their application notes section of their webpage. I have attached the link to Chapter 3 which is very useful for designing the front end, power supply and digital outputs sections of devices like the AD2S44. Please have your customer look this over and would recommend downloading the remaining chapters as well.
If you would like to provide further details on your customers application and specific question, we would be glad to help further.
