I have a question.
Is this device fully differential input possible or SE only?
The PIN description seems to SE only.
Our customer's circuit can be simplified If differential is possible.
The AD7616 is a SE input. But if you are looking for a differential bipolar input, I can refer you to AD7609. It is an 8 channel 18 bit Bipolar ADC. Do you have a specific feature that you are looking for an ADC? By the way , what application you are planning to build?
If it is really SE input, where is defined allowed voltage input range for analog ground input ? Datasheet says only about +/-21V on analog inputs. From pictures it looks like difference/differential amplifier on front of analog input. If it is really SE I assume that common mode voltage on input ( ground input ) is limited to certain range. What is allowed on ground pin ? +/-0.1V ? More ? Less ? Please make datasheet more specyfic otherway it is confusing.
Looks like Hiroshi is on vacation.
Can anybody from analog.com answer to this question ?
My mistake. That was question to Jonathan not to Hiroshi.Sorry.
