AD7738 Acquisition time

Question

In one of my design, we are using AD7738. What is the acquisition time of this converter? How to calculate the acquisition time of sigma-delta ADC.

Hi, 
 For Sigma delta ADC we don't have an acquisition time as we specified the timing based on the settling time and selected output data rate which includes the sampling time. The ADC takes care of all of the timing and you just need to monitor the RDY. For AD7738, the conversion time is the overall time needed to have a valid conversion, this is set using conversion time register. The formula in determining the actual conversion time of the AD7738 will depends on the FW written on the register. This is shown on page 17 of the AD7738 datasheet.
